Step-by-step guide to creating issues from templates

  • Start by logging into your Jira account and accessing your dashboard or any other Jira page.
  • Look for the Apps option in the main menu or toolbar, typically found at the top or side of your screen.
  • From the expanded menu, choose the Create issue from template option.
  • You will be prompted with the following pop-up

  • Select the desired template and click "Use this template" (or double-click on it).
  • If the chosen template includes variables, the application will either prompt you for the additional required details or directly create the issues for you, depending on the configuration.
